Product overview
Nintendo eShop is the digital storefront for supported Nintendo systems. The Hong Kong eShop funds option adds balance that can be spent on eligible digital games and add-ons, useful for players who prefer to choose titles themselves or top up an existing account.
The other option is a Nintendo Switch Online membership in 1-month or 12-month terms, a time-based service rather than store balance. Each option is separate: buying one does not include the other, and benefits not named by that option, such as an Expansion Pack or family plan, are not included.
Region: Hong Kong SAR China
The selected option delivers a redemption code or card credential, to be redeemed through the relevant issuer’s process.
Examples of listed options: Nintendo HK 100 HKD / Nintendo Switch 1M HK / Nintendo HK 500 HKD / Nintendo Switch 12M HK / Nintendo HK 300 HKD. See the product option selector for the complete choices and current purchasable options.

🎯 How to use
Check which option you bought: eShop funds or a Switch Online membership for a stated term.
For funds, open Nintendo's official redeem page on a computer or phone, sign in to the Nintendo Account you intend to use, and enter the code as prompted.
Alternatively, open Nintendo eShop on the console, choose to enter a code, and add the balance to the signed-in account.
For a membership option, activate the chosen term on the relevant account following the instructions delivered with that code.
⚠️ Important notes
eShop funds and Switch Online membership are separate options; one purchase does not include the other.
The funds code is not a game download code, so you still pick eligible digital content in the store.
The balance ties to the Nintendo Account used at redemption and its regional eShop, so check the account first.
Benefits not named by the option, such as an Expansion Pack or family plan, are not included.
Purchase quantity is the number of codes or cards. Each one delivers the value or entitlement named by the selected option; quantity is not a custom top-up amount.
🛡️ Stay safe
Use redemption codes only in the relevant brand’s redemption interface. For top-ups, provide only the receiving details requested by the product. Never share login passwords or one-time verification codes, or use gift cards to pay alleged tax debts, release frozen funds or complete security checks.
❓ Frequently asked questions
Is this a Switch Online membership?
It depends on the option: 100/300/500 HKD are eShop funds, while 1M/12M HK are term-based Switch Online memberships.
Where do I enter the funds code?
On Nintendo's official redeem page after signing in, or in Nintendo eShop on the console via the enter-code option.
Can the funds be exchanged for one specific game?
No. After the balance is added, you choose and buy an eligible digital game or add-on in the store.
Do I need to provide a receiving account at checkout?
The current options deliver a code or card credential without a required receiving-account field at checkout. Choose the value or content you need, then use the delivered code through the redemption process for that product.
Scam prevention and account safety
- Do not share gift card codes, account passwords or verification codes with strangers.
- Check the account ID, region and face value before purchasing. Use the appropriate platform’s legitimate redemption page.
- Be wary of requests to pay fines, deposits or account-unlocking fees with gift cards. Do not buy or hand over codes at a stranger’s instruction.
