At a store that accepts SM Gift Pass, present the card or give the card number and PIN at checkout and follow the cashier's instructions.

Check the remaining balance using the instructions provided with the card, and keep the card number private.

If activation or a balance inquiry step is included, complete it per the card's instructions before spending.
